Aklan - Aklan Province - Aklan Boracay
Aklan is a province of Panay Island in the Philippines, which is located in the Western Visayas region. Its capital is Kalibo and is located at the northwest portion of Panay Island. Aklan faces the Sibuyan Sea and the province of Romblon to the north.
Aklan Province occupies the northern third of Panay Island and is bordered by the provinces of Iloilo from the south, Capiz from the east, and Antique from the southwest. The Aklan province also includes the world famous island of Boracay which is located at its northwestern tip.
Aklan is the gateway to Boracay Island, and it is here you will find the Kalibo Airport and the Caticlan Airport, the only two airports on the Island of Panay that offers daily flights to Boracay.
